We are excited to announce that we are building on that commitment and will be expanding our campus by more than 500,000 square feet. This will bring our three-building campus to a total of nearly 1.5 million square feet.

Since announcing we would make New Albany home to our newest data center in August 2017, we have made significant progress on construction. So far, we have poured nearly 35,000 cubic yards of concrete and placed over 9,000 tons of steel. This represents 2.8 million hours of work by more than 600 workers who are on site every day — reaching 1,200 workers on site at peak.

Like all of our data centers, the New Albany facility will be LEED Certified Gold once its operational. This is a result of our comprehensive approach to sustainable design and construction, which focuses on energy and water conservation, responsible material sourcing, and waste reduction.
