Even though the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the traditional Independence Day festivities, the City of New Albany is working with the New Albany Community Events Board to plan a 2 ½ hour parade that will travel throughout many New Albany neighborhoods. There will be fire trucks, police cars, popular kids’ characters, musical guests, local businesses, and local sports teams.
